Nowadays, many people tend to follow the south beach diet as it is flexible and there is no restriction on many of the food items. They always say to take in nutritional foods and avoid the foods that are not needed for the body. There are three phases on which the diet plan works. The first and the second phase are mainly for the specific and given timeframe. The third phase is mainly for the life. With this approach to the food, the calorie count will be stopped and the food portion will be stopped weighing. This will also stop a feeling that you are deprived from the intake of satisfying and good tasting food.

Apart from any other diet the south beach diet allows taking meals three times a day and also can take snacks twice daily. The meal are planned to be very flexible and you are free to enjoy the foods that you deserve to eat. But the best part of all is that you will able to see amazing results within a short period of time. Your thighs hips and stomach will go very thinner. You can also see the scales number and also the food carving that is overwhelming will go down very quickly.

The south beach diet is really interesting as it allows eating many of our favorite dishes and also reduces weight. Some of our mouth-watering dishes like Shrimp Louis, Chicken and also Chocolate sponge cakes are also some times allowed in the south beach diet. In the first phase the controlled portion may include turkey, beef, fish, shellfish and chicken. Along with these food salads, vegetables, nuts, cheese and eggs are eaten. But all of this should be controlled well. In the second phase system baked foods, candy, fruits, cookies, cakes, potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, sugar and ice cream will be added slowly in to the diet plan.

In this diet plan, beverages are avoided up to some extend. Hard alcohol, beer, wine etc are all included. But they say to take more quantity of water daily. All the starchy foods may be completely avoided. Following all these conditions, the south beach diet will help to control the diet and gives a long lasting healthier life.
