Atkins food diet is not at all a complicated one like any other. There is no strict restriction on several foods. He intend on not taking food that contains carbohydrate in a large amount. Rather they give a diet chart that recommends consuming large quantity of food that is rich in protein. The foods such as egg, meat and seafood have no carbohydrates in it but are rich in protein. According to Atkins diet plans these food items that contains less carbohydrate are consumable.

Some vegetables may contain more amount of carbohydrate, so they say to make a list of those vegetables and avoid them. Now there are measures taken to check the count of carbohydrates in the vegetables so that it can be easily identified. During the induction period they say to eat cheese, as it contains carbohydrate less than one gram. So 3 to 4 ounce can be taken in per day. It should be cream cheese but fresh cheeses, farmer’s cheese and cottage cheese are not allowed.

People are cautious not to bring down the fat content by doing dieting. Adequate amount of fat is an essential factor for a successful diet. Omega 3 fatty acid is very important for our body. Many of the cold water fish contains this fatty acid so always try to eat plenty of fishes. They usually tell to emphasize olive oil that are extra-virgin or that are labeled virgin. For frying any food items Atkins say to use grape seed oil, peanut and canola. They advice that these oils are good for health than any other

Saturated fats like coconut and butter are acceptable. But it should not be consumed more. Try to avoid safflower, corn and sunflower oil. Atkins recommends using more foods that has fiber in it. Water is the only beverage that is preferred. Drinking 8 glass of water every day will be too good for health. Ciders and juice can be taken without adding sugar in it. Atkins food diet theory is mainly to use more amount of protein rich food and limit the in take of carbohydrate to 20 grams per day.
